Hollywood, 1935. People flock to the movies for escape — and sometimes just for the air-conditioning. The people who make the movies play hard and work hard, and that’s just fine with glamorous, blonde Frankie Franklin, the brightest star at Fortune Motion Pictures. She’s on the set right now, making a picture that that will help her fans forget there’s a Depression going on.
